About John Schoonmaker

John Schoonmaker, is a native Long Islander. Having spent his entire life on Long Island and traveling most of the island with work, sports, and careers, he is intimately knowledgeable with many of the towns across the island. John loves Long Island and believes its a terrific place to live and raise a family. Where else can you visit beaches like Robert Moses, Long Beach, and Montauk, NY. You can boat and sail beautiful harbors like Manhasset Bay, Northport Harbor, and Cold Spring Harbor to name a few.

Long Island has terrific restaurants such as Bryant and Coopers, Cassis, Kashi Sushi, and Parkside.

Lastly, the history of professional sports in the Metropolitan area going back to the Brooklyn Dodgers and New York Giants to today's Yankees and Mets, Rangers and Islanders, Knicks, the New York Football Giants.

John joined Laffey Fine Homes International for the challenge and to be part of the Best in the business. Joining Laffey Fines Homes International in 2009 when the market was at a low, only meant the best is yet to come. Laffey Fine Homes International puts the professionalism and commitment into each transaction.

As Executive Vice President, John is responsible for professional business development of its strategic partners. Recent third party survey's show the consumer wants a trusted partner for all of their Real Estate needs such as mortgage, title, insurance, moving professionals, and attorneys.

John also heads up talent acquisition. John believes that at the core of Real Estate is the agent. These hardworking professionals are what make the difference in buying or selling a home.
